The distinguished older gentleman looked alone & confused as he stood in the middle of the of the living room... Meanwhile, shoppers fluttered like butterflies around him - going from table to table (looking for deals).  

Melissa (co-founder of RoundtheClock) walked up to him.  "Are you ok?" she asked the man.  He looked at her and then back at the controlled chaos around him.  "These are our items - my wife is gone (passed)" he replied.  He looked back at Melissa with tears in his eyes.  "It's just - difficult to watch."

Meanwhile, the estate sale employees kept their head down - too busy to notice or care.  It was heartbreaking.

Melissa and I walked away from that estate sale - saddened by what we saw. 

On the drive home, we decided to start an estate liquidation company that would be noticeably different from our competitors.  We were determined to create a company that understands how difficult it may be for those who hire us, and empathetic towards the emotions they may feel throughout the process...
